Grandparents

Jesus tells his listeners that they are blessed because they see him and know him. How much more blessed were his grandparents who must have known him as a little boy and loved him dearly, though they are not mentioned in the Gospels. Today grandparents often have a big role to play in the growth in faith of their grandchildren. Their faith and their love for Jesus and Mary as well as their example will have a profound effect on the growth in faith of their grandchildren. May Anne and Joachim intercede for all grandparents today!
