HOLY WEEK

PALM SUNDAY

Isaiah 50:4-7; Psalm 22; Phil 2:6-11;
Luke 22:14-23-56

“Blessed is our King.”

Today we begin Holy Week. Jesus comes to Jerusalem and he is greeted as a King. The disciples put down a carpet of their cloaks, and wave palm branches, shouting “Blessed is our King who comes in the name of our God.” Yes, this son of Mary, Son of God, is among us, ready to offer Himself for us, rejected by many who cheered for him. Let us walk with Jesus, through each day of this week. He seems one like us, but he is leading us to really understand who He is.
