Jeremiah 20:10-13; Psalm 18; John 10:31-42

“You are my rock, my strength.”

Jeremiah in his challenges faces his attackers, “God is at my side, a mighty hero. I have committed my cause to him.” And the Psalmist picks the same theme – “I love you Lord; you are my rock, my lamp, my strength.” Jesus is the model for us; Jesus speaks of his Father being with him in all adversity. In the challenges, large or small, that I meet in my life, can I turn to God and say, “God, you are my rock, my lamp, my strength. I love you.”
