Have a little hope

We want to go to Heaven when we die. The Old Testament prophets, Jesus and his disciples, the words of the gospels, the writings of the saints tell us – follow Jesus and try and live a holy life. We aren’t promised an armchair ride to Heaven. We will get our share of persecutions, doubts, stresses and troubles, but…hold onto Jesus, follow his light. Christ’s judgement is fair, just and full of mercy. Hold on to that too.
