To be or not to be?

To be in God’s Kingdom or not to be in it. By means of this brief parable the Lord Jesus tells the priests and elders that they are not in the Kingdom of God. They heard John preach the coming Kingdom and they rejected his message. It was the little people who readily embraced John’s teaching. Years later Paul summed up what it means to belong to the Kingdom of God. “For the Kingdom of God does not mean food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
