Power and great glory

The world seems a frightening place. So many wars, injustices, misery, people seeking refuge from all sorts of hardship, starvation. It is easy to lose hope, or to wonder what will become of us, of our world, created for us by God. But Jesus assures us that we will be liberated. There is the promise of coming of the Lord with ‘power and great glory’. Do we maintain our faith in the Lord and his power to liberate us?
