Hurtful divisions

Jesus warns against a household divided against itself. Our own society knows the tragedy of ‘broken homes,’ of children thrust into ‘blended families’ or split between separated parents. Can the family still be regarded as the bedrock of a nation? Let this day hold prayer for all families, that ties might be strengthened, that homes be true havens and that love might prevail.
