Can you drink this cup?

What a shocking question? How do I answer? Am I like the competitive James and John who wanted Jesus to do them a favour and allow them to be with Jesus in his glory? Who of us would not like to share in the outcome without having to tread the path that Jesus did in obedience to his Father and because of his great love for us? Let me pray with Jesus’ question to me “Can you drink this cup?” How is my life of service?
