God so loved
In contrast to yesterday’s gospel, today’s tells of a good Pharisee, Nicodemus. He approaches Jesus, honestly searching for truth. He questions. And he hears Jesus tell of how God so loved the world that he gave his only Son. Paul echoes this truth in his letter to the Ephesians. God does not want to condemn, but to save. Do I take this on board? Really believe in the incredible mercy and love of God?
