The inner yes

If we are to follow Christ, then Paul urges us to put on the mind of Jesus Christ. To be selfless, humble -- being like a servant. In the parable of the two sons in Matthew, Jesus distinguishes between a person who says “no”, but then follows Christ, and a person who says “yes”, but then does not follow Christ. Either way, we are all sinners, and we can close ourselves off from God. May our hearts and actions rest in Christ and bear fruit. Help us follow you, Jesus.
