The Spirit of life

Ezekiel prophesied that God would breathe his spirit into all people. When we are filled with the Spirit of God, we are able to live joyously as Easter people. Now is the time, however, to continue to turn to God and ask for forgiveness for the times we have turned away and to praise him for his gift of the Spirit who lives within us. Let us reply, as Martha did when Jesus asked her whether she believed that he was the resurrection and the life: Yes, Lord, I believe you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who was to come into this world.
