Clean within!

Cleanliness is next to Godliness! An old saying that equates clean with pure, pure with perfect and perfect with everything we understand God to be. Jesus shows how far we have to go to reach perfection when he exposes the evil that lies within us.

We find it so easy to judge others, to bend the rules, to disguise the truth, to ignore cries for help, to do wrong… These are what make a person “unclean”.

Pray today to produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
