Expect the unexpected

It was going to be just another day at the Temple. He had a sacred duty to perform, but nothing he was not expecting. And then God turned Zechariah’s life upside down. Is there a pattern emerging here? Mary, Joseph, Zechariah -- and soon, Elizabeth. That is what God does if you open the door; he comes in. Christmas is near. As they say in Wellington: “Expect the unexpected”.
