Remain faithful and true

As our liturgical year draws to a close, the Church places before us Scripture passages about the end of time and the coming of the Lord. The Church is not asking us to become involved in speculation about when or how time will end. Nor is it attempting to instill fear in us. Rather it is simply doing what Jesus was doing - exhorting his disciples to always remain faithful to his teachings. Whatever happens to us, the only question we will need to answer is: Were you faithful? Have you been true to me?
