Faith concrete and visible
St Paul did not expect the Christians in Thessalonica to support him financially. He worked to earn his living whilst staying with them and preaching the Good News. He reminds the Thessalonians that the Christian faith should not be just a beautiful theory. It is to be made concrete and visible so as to encourage others. Do we consciously work with and for others in a manner that speaks of the Gospel that we cherish? Can we hear St. Paul saying to us, ‘do not be weary of doing what is right’?
