Move freely with God

Abraham and Sarah are inspirational models of faith, leaving home and not knowing their destination, actively searching for land, and trusting God for a child. Staying home and waiting on God’s promises would have been simpler. Their faith reminds us to participate actively in life, to get moving and persevere through struggles. The principle seems to be that the Holy Spirit guides us, like wind filling a sail once we start moving beyond familiar anchorage. Disciples are servants who are ready. Are there areas in your life where you need to lift anchor to move freely with God?
