Take time

As with all blessings, the double blessing of seeing and hearing are gifts that we tend to take for granted. So, very enthusiastically, Jesus tells the disciples that they are so blessed, for the time of waiting for a Messiah is over and they are witnesses to this fact. In every faith community there are such people who deeply live out this belief in their hearing and seeing, in their doing and in their stillness. That is why it is good to take time away from the computers and our iPads and visit our elders, for such visits strengthen our ability to hear and to see the wonders of grace in our own hearts and lives.
