Seeing with God’s eyes

Within a few verses of St Mark’s Gospel Peter went from hero to zero, as the saying goes. He was right in his courageous declaration of Jesus as the Christ; he was so wrong in his discouraging Jesus from following the path that he had to follow, the road to Jerusalem and to Calvary. Peter fell into the trap of thinking the way humans normally do, which is not God’s way of thinking. Lord, please give me the grace to see things more and more as you do.
