Peace with all people

On this Waitangi Day, may we take to heart and put into practice in our lives the prayer that we will pray at Mass: Almighty and ever-living God, to whom every human power is subject, and under whose governance the design for all the ages unfolds, as you once led the Māori people and many other peoples to find their home in this land, so grant that divisions be removed, that equity and justice be established, and that we may all become one day citizens of heaven.
