The wonders of God’s love

The horde of demons that inhabited the Gerasene demoniac were no match for the power of God’s love in Christ. Those who witnessed the exorcism and its aftermath were afraid and amazed, and asked our Lord to go away. The man who had been possessed became a witness to ‘all that the Lord in his mercy had done’ for him. When the Lord invites me to live my faith more whole-heartedly, do I ask him to go away; or do I give my best in witnessing to what the Lord, in his mercy, has done for me?
