Kenneth Akua SM was ordained deacon by Bishop Thomas Burns SM in Rome on 3 November 2018. Kenneth, who is from Cameroon, is the first Marist seminarian to progress to the fourth year of theology studies in Rome. He has begun a License in Dogmatic Theology at the Gregorian University and is taking part in the Liturgy course offered by the Diocese of Rome for Presiders of Liturgy. His pastoral ministry is with the Sant’Egidio community where he assists people with disabilities. Kenneth will return to the District of Africa next year.
