Prayer for the ‘long haul’ can be a real challenge. We are asked to take heart and persevere in our prayer.

From a position of helplessness, where one feels one is truly stuck, persistence triumphs.

The widow overcomes the unjust judge; how much more will a gracious God be attentive to our faithfulness.

All, of course, in God’s time.
