Be prepared

Events in life can tear relationships asunder, e.g., death, illness, redundancy etc. These are reminders to us of how we should be prepared for the coming of the Lord. The suddenness of Jesus’ coming places a duty on the disciple to be prepared.

The events in life direct us to that reality, we see and intuit them, like the rich imagery found in the Gospel of the vultures circling the body.
