Choosing Gospel Values

Today’s Gospel doesn’t sit easily in our world where ambition and power are pushed strongly as desirable qualities and goals to be achieved. It calls on us to re-evaluate completely what we mean by ‘greatness’ and ‘success’ and reminds us that Gospel values are very different from those of the society we live in. Thérèse understood that and realised that all God is asking of us is that we trust him in love and rely on him, not solely on ourselves.
