Oh oh hypocrite alert.

One of the biggest challenges to our institutional church is the label of hypocrisy. Our history and present is littered with the occasions where we have professed something and done the opposite, wounding others, at times irrevocably. Hypocrisy prevents others meeting Jesus and having life to the full. It is a serious sin that we are all prone to. Let us say the prayer of Pope Francis: "Lord, may I never be a hypocrite, may I know how to say the truth and if I cannot say it, to be quiet. But never, never be a hypocrite." Amen.
