Ezekiel 12: 1-12; Psalm 78; Matthew 18:21-19:1

Give me time

Psalm 78 describes Israel’s past. Matthew describes the unforgiving debtor. Both stories are about the compassion and love of God and those who didn’t quite hear and understand the point of God’s encounter with them. God gives us all. We want more. God shows us the way of love. We struggle to mirror God, although we are made to reflect God’s goodness. Pray today to be magnanimous in your interactions with others. Be kind and generous without counting the cost.
