Guided by the Spirit

We receive the gifts of the Spirit in some ways every day, but in fullness at our confirmation, which we recall each Pentecost Sunday. The seven gifts of the Spirit are not usually seen by others but experienced by ourselves. Others see the results (the fruits of the Spirit) of us using those gifts and being guided by them: “the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control.” Pray today that you will be open to the gifts of the Spirit and so witness to the world with the fruits evident in your life.
