God looks at the heart
“God looks at the heart.” This makes me feel uncomfortable because there is a lot in my heart that I won’t be putting on the front page of the Parish Bulletin. There lie all my weaknesses. God promoted the little fellow David from shepherd boy to king. In spite of his flaws, God shaped David into a great leader. The Lord looks into our hearts and sees what we truly are. He sees the king in the shepherd boy and the loyal disciple that I try to be. Let’s thank God for that.
