Just do it

In the challenging gospel of today we are asked by Jesus to not just listen to what he says to us, but to do it. We are invited to look at the reality of our own lives and relationships and see what needs healing, refreshing, and bringing to life. Perhaps for some of us, acting on God’s word may also mean reaching out further to those suffering within our society. Let’s not be afraid, but have courage to listen and act, like the great Bishop Ambrose of Milan.
