Kindness

Jesus reminds us that our love for God and for one another is all that matters. A love that is expressed in our care and kindness. Unlike others, Jesus seems totally motivated for others in each moment of his life. The gospel writers present him in this way. Our loving of God doesn't invoke God into our small wee world but rather exposes us to the largeness of God’s world. Take a moment today to recall the faces of some of those who have loved you through these years, and then thank God for them with a litany of faces.
