Open to new insights

Imagine Jesus seated in the boat telling the parable of a sower sowing seeds. Gifts of the earth – seed, soil and types of harvest open new insights. We are told about, and we see, the reign of God present in part. Nevertheless, for most then, and now, life stays unchanged. In what ways am I open to new insights?
