Who’s to blame?

Hostility often comes from a misplaced sense of entitlement. ‘It’s my life to set the boundaries, mine to do with what I want.’ Of course, this is when things are going well. If they don’t go well, do I seek someone to blame? Blame God, perhaps? Instead of blaming, maybe we should step back and remind ourselves -- that in knowing and appreciating the life God has given us, one is humbled rather than entitled, and instead of blaming God, one should give thanks. For thanks is due.
