Acts 12:24-13:5; Psalm 67; John 12:44-50

'Go now you are sent forth'

Jesus speaks of being commanded by the Father to preach the 'good news.' As he moved around Palestine teaching, preaching and healing, Jesus showed that he had complete confidence that God was with him. When the disciples of Jesus moved out from Jerusalem to Gentile lands, they shared this Gospel message with the same confidence in God. Likewise, as Christians, we too are commissioned to share the 'good news,' confident that God is with us.
