Valuing and sharing our treasures

In the Gospel reading Jesus again challenges us to search behind our customary ways of looking at life and recognise that all we have is gift from God. Do I value the gifts that God has given me? When did I last say thank you to God for my country, my talents, my family and friends, the opportunities I have each day? Am I willing to share my knowledge, my comfort, my peaceful existence, my fears and doubts?
