Giving witness to the resurrection

St Peter preached powerfully and well until his death in Rome. He had been among those who ate and drank with the risen Lord, and his life was given over to the Good News of God’s love in Christ. Every time we attend the Eucharist, we eat and drink with the risen Lord, and we are strengthened to give better witness to the Gospel message.
