Sunday 12 March
SECOND SUNDAY IN LENT
Genesis 12:1-4; Psalm 33; 2 Timothy 1:8-10; Matthew 17: 1-9
God with us
Only a select few are privileged to have direct sensory communication with God (e.g., Peter, James and John in today’s Gospel). We ordinary folk must rely on faith and discernment. But not to worry; God does communicate with us in so many ways, if only we have ears to hear and eyes to see. Be encouraged: we ‘who have not seen, and yet have believed….’ are ‘blessed’ (John 20:29). God is present everywhere and at every moment to those who seek him. Experience God’s presence in your life now, this moment, and be ‘blessed.’
