Good News
We are so familiar with these words of the Gospel: ‘the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear. The dead are raised to life and the Good News is proclaimed to the poor.’ Do we recognise that we too are surrounded by the Kingdom of God? God is present in the goodness of neighbours, the generosity of parents and grandparents, in the selflessness of teachers and in those who stand with the disadvantaged. Let us give thanks to God for the goodness of those who live the Gospel.
