Rely on God

Jesus talks about the persecutions to come, but promises that He will always be with us. In some parts of the world today that persecution is very real, with the threat of death around every corner. Let us pray for those sufferers, that they may hold firm to their faith and trust in the Lord.

We suffer a different form of persecution, surrounded by materialism and lack of family values. But didn’t Jesus promise us that He would give us eloquence and wisdom? May we rely on him and speak out for Him at every opportunity.
