Dealing with rejection

On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus taught in towns and villages, and we suspect there were Jews who did not receive his teachings. He was saddened by rejection from his own people and he said the feast of the kingdom of God would go to other countries. We ask ourselves, was that indeed God’s larger plan? Sometimes, when a door closes in front of us, we spend time beating on it instead of seeing another door that has opened at our back.
