An example of unconditional love

It must have been very difficult for Our Lady’s parents to accept the changes in their young daughter’s life when a respectable betrothal had to turn into a hasty marriage. Yet they supported and loved her – just as most parents today respond to and love their children, particularly when the children are in trouble. Sadly, there are other parents whose parenting has not connected with the grace of unconditional love.

Dear Sts Joachim and Anne, please pray for all parents and their children, especially those who most need God’s help.
