Mary -- what an inspirational woman! See her now. Taking off in sturdy sandals to cross the dangerous mountainous terrain to Elizabeth. Pregnant with new life she meets Elizabeth and embraces her. Immediately new life leaps in Elizabeth’s womb too. Women together carrying life and celebrating unusual circumstances. Mary prays the Magnificat – a radical personal creed of love and fidelity. Who is Mary for you? Mother of the poor, refugee, sister, first disciple, bright star, Queen of heaven. Quietly pray the Magnificat line by line with Mary. Let it become your prayer together.
