Ambition

Jesus shares his coming suffering and death. James and John grasp the opportunity to ask a favour. Can they have the prime places with him in heaven? Two issues to look at. Do we wish to avoid and skip the Jerusalem hard parts that following Jesus involves? And are we able to accept that our lives are to be poured out in selfless service? Service and giving of our lives come at quite a cost. Are you prepared to pay it?
