Feast of St Matthias, Apostle

Acts 1:15-17, 20-26, Ps 113, John 15:9-17

I chose you

I really love this gospel. In it I am called friend. I am told that I am loved unconditionally. I am chosen to do something with my life that makes a difference. I am commanded to love others. How awesome is that! Then Jesus tells me that I will be given all that I need. Wow! Today let that soak in.
