‘Do not be worried’
Worry is a worry. We worry about health, wealth, today, tomorrow, our family. When worry begins we only have seconds to prevent it taking over our minds/body/spirit as adrenalin kicks in. Worry derives from an Old English word meaning ‘strangle’ -- it may feel like it’s killling us. Jesus’ message is to breathe, and with open hands, hear his gentle whisper: peace! In that first second when you are worried – touch your throat and breathe in peace.
