Acts 13:13-25; Ps 89; John 13:16-20

By faith and by works

Our faith is not only about words but also about actions. Only by matching our words with our actions can we live a faith life of integrity, as did John the Baptist. We are called to follow and to proclaim the message of Jesus by the way we live – not to place ourselves above him by choosing which parts of the Gospel we will commit to and which we will ignore. Is my life one of integrity? Which parts of my life do I need to pay attention to so that I am more a disciple of Jesus?
