GOOD FRIDAY

Isaiah 52:13-53:12, Ps 31, Hebrews 4:14-16, 5:7-9, Passion John 18:1-19:42

Darkness, only darkness

Today my friendship with Jesus Christ is sorely tested. With my Lord I suffer the injustice of an agonising, innocent death. In my suffering I am acknowledging the mind of God and his plan for his world. Two thousand odd years on from the Crucifixion the world still needs the redeeming love that the Cross of Christ brings.
