Recognising my idols

Today is a good day to examine my life for idols, those human creations, not necessarily cast in metal, which I hold so dear they stop me loving and worshipping God and stop me following Jesus Christ to Calvary. Soft idols come sneakily into my life. My ideas and opinions about Church life can become idols formed by my pride. Pride allows me to leave the path Jesus Christ is travelling and form my own pathway.
