The miracle of personhood

Isaiah’s vision sounds like heaven. Jesus says that my faith is strengthened when I move from seeing miracles as earthly signs that heaven exists, to absorbing the miracle and the Person who performs it into my life. To do this requires a vision that is really a bit beyond ‘me.’ Raising my mind and heart to God brings me closer to Jesus Christ whom I begin to know as the second person of the Trinity. My personhood, my ordinary life then becomes a channel through which Jesus Christ can flow. This indeed is Good News, a little personal miracle.
