To forgive is divine

I need a humble attitude before God if forgiveness and mercy are to be part of my life. In heated personal moments, and in these difficult times, forgiveness needs to come quickly to my life. I imitate the swiftness and reliability of God to forgive when my heart is open to the things of heaven. Sorrow for my own sins softens my heart, readying it for God’s help in forgiving others and forgiving myself.
