Confidence

In the book of Hebrews we read: “Let us be confident in approaching the throne of grace, that we shall have mercy from him and find grace when we are in need of help.” We are all in need of help. We cannot get to God with just our own strength. In fact knowing my need of God’s grace opens me to receive it. And asking for mercy allows me to let in forgiveness and healing which is available to me. For this time of prayer, imagine the open arms of God welcome you as you approach the throne of grace.
